What is grief?
Grief is a normal process after a loss, but sometimes it can be too intense, or it can last excessively in time.
Feelings of sadness, longing, and melancholy are common in these cases, time but when they begin to interfere in the normal functioning of the person be it in their social, personal or work life, it is when we can begin to consider that it is time to visit a psychologist and get some help.
There are several types of grief, such as the one that can happen in a totally unexpected situation like an accident, or quite the opposite, a situation of anticipated grief, as it would be in the case of being aware a loved person’s terminal state after a more or less long period of a disease .
