Nerea Núñez

I trained as a psychologist while working as an early childhood educator. During this time, I was able to observe a wide range of developmental diseases, in addition to seeing how the environment, the stimuli, and the education influence, in a direct and meaningful way, the development and growth process of people, as well as the establishment of the personality.

Mixing psychology and early child education has given me a global vision of the human development and of our basic needs as a social beings. Despite having acquired deep knowledge about the evolution of the human mind and it’s functioning, my curiosity demanded further learning, a better understanding of the processes in the human brain during its development and when interacting with the world. This curiosity led me to obtain a master’s degree in clinical neuropsychology.

This science led me to a better and more conscious understanding of the kind of processes that take place during the formation of this amazing organ that the brain is, and of how it defines the way in which we interact with the world, our behaviour, manifestations, diseases, etc. These knowledge allows me to help people whose performance is not optimal, and therefore cannot enjoy the quality of life they would like.

I love neuroscience and neuropsychology and how both disciplines can help humans in many different and diverse situations. I believe that science should be combined with the social part that every human needs, thats why the accompaniment, adequacy and respect for the patient are basic pillars in the way I develop my work.
