As with physical training, after a neurofeedback session, the most commonly reported side effect is fatigue. <\/span><\/p> <p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While brain training is similar to physical training in many ways, the brain and body express the side effects of training differently. Fatigue, at the brain level, is experienced in the form of mental exhaustion, in the same way that happens after learning a complex mental skill, after speaking a language with which one is not fluent.<\/span><\/p> <p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Because Neurofeedback is essentially structured exercises for your brain, the term &#8220;side effect&#8221; is not applicable in the same sense that it would be for medications.
