At Neuros Center we prioritise a good diagnosis for a fast and effective treatment. This is why the first session in our clinic is dedicated to an optimum psychological evaluation in order to guide us to the adequate techniques.
We study each case individually to offer the perfect solution depending on the needs of each patient, to make sure that the duration of the treatment will be the shortest possible, and the results fast and satisfactory.
Brain mapping (QEEG)
The quantitative electroencephalography or Brain mapping (qEEG) is performed prior to the Neurofeedback treatment in order to detect those areas where there are brain wave imbalances which could be due to various pathologies. The qEEG helps identify abnormal patterns of brain waves through the comparison (in a data base) with people of the same gender and age who do not have symptoms. Once the brain mapping has been analysed, a specific individualised protocol is selected.
The Brain mapping procedure is non-invasive, and no electrical current is delivered to the brain. The procedure involves placing a 19-sensors hat with small electrodes on the patient’s head, which measures the brain’s electrical patterns. Information about the effectiveness of the communication between the different parts of the brain is collected.
This evolution procedure allows us to scientifically and objectively determine the waves patterns of each patient and thus determines a specific strategy for the improvement and balance of the neural activity.
