{"id":32781,"date":"2022-07-27T17:20:05","date_gmt":"2022-07-27T15:20:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/neuroscenter.com\/neurofeedback-a-la-malaltia-dalzheimer\/"},"modified":"2022-07-27T17:20:05","modified_gmt":"2022-07-27T15:20:05","slug":"neurofeedback-a-la-malaltia-dalzheimer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/neuroscenter.com\/ca\/blog\/neurofeedback-a-la-malaltia-dalzheimer\/","title":{"rendered":"Neurofeedback a la Malaltia d&#8217;Alzheimer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Els estudis realitzats sobre el cervell de pacients diagnosticats amb <strong>Malaltia d&#8217;Alzheimer (MA)<\/strong> evidencien que aquestes persones es caracteritzen per tenir certs patrons d&#8217;activitat el\u00e8ctrica neuronal que es relacionen amb el mal funcionament cerebral. La identificaci\u00f3 d&#8217;aquests patrons permet intervenir-hi per obtenir beneficis en certes \u00e0rees que estan afectades, concretament a trav\u00e9s de la realitzaci\u00f3 de <strong>Neurofeedback.<\/strong><\/p> <h2>Afectaci\u00f3 cerebral a la Malaltia d&#8217;Alzheimer<\/h2> <h3>Marcadors electroencefalogr\u00e0fics<\/h3> <p>Les persones amb malaltia d&#8217;Alzheimer comparteixen certs patrons electroencefalogr\u00e0fics caracter\u00edstics d&#8217;aquesta malaltia.<\/p> <p>Un dels primers indicadors que es pot veure, ja que sol apar\u00e8ixer des dels inicis de la malaltia, \u00e9s un augment d&#8217;ones lentes i una disminuci\u00f3 d&#8217;ones r\u00e0pides, cosa que produeix un <strong>alentiment general de l&#8217;Electroencefalograma (EEG).<\/strong> A mesura que la malaltia va avan\u00e7ant, aquest predomini d&#8217;ones lentes es va fent m\u00e9s notable, cosa que podria estar directament relacionada amb les \u00e0rees implicades en el funcionament de la mem\u00f2ria (l\u00f2buls temporal i frontal).<\/p> <p>Tamb\u00e9 s&#8217;ha pogut observar una tend\u00e8ncia que les <strong>ones r\u00e0pides<\/strong>, que en persones sanes predominen a la part posterior del cervell, <strong>van avan\u00e7ant cap a zones mitjanes.<\/strong><\/p> <p>D&#8217;altra banda, hi ha una <strong>disminuci\u00f3 de la complexitat de les ones<\/strong>. Aix\u00f2 \u00e9s degut al fet que hi ha una p\u00e8rdua important del nombre de neurones i, per tant, tamb\u00e9 hi ha una alteraci\u00f3 funcional del cervell.<\/p> <p>Aquesta p\u00e8rdua neuronal, juntament amb altres factors, tamb\u00e9 \u00e9s responsable de la <strong>manca de sincronia<\/strong> que hi ha a les connexions cerebrals. Aquesta desincronitzaci\u00f3 causar\u00e0 que la informaci\u00f3 es transmeti de forma m\u00e9s lenta i amb m\u00e9s dificultat, afectant aix\u00ed el seu funcionament.<\/p> <h3>Proves Neuropsicol\u00f2giques<\/h3> <p>La realitzaci\u00f3 de proves neuropsicol\u00f2giques permet obtenir informaci\u00f3 sobre l&#8217;<strong>estat de certes capacitats cognitives<\/strong>com ara: mem\u00f2ria, atenci\u00f3, capacitat verbal, capacitat num\u00e8rica, lectoescriptura, entre d&#8217;altres.<\/p> <p>Una de les m\u00e9s utilitzades en casos de dem\u00e8ncia o sospita de deteriorament cognitiu \u00e9s el Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE), ja que permet fer un primer cribratge de l&#8217;estat cognitiu a diferents \u00e0rees.<\/p> <p>Mitjan\u00e7ant la realitzaci\u00f3 d&#8217;aquest test a persones amb MA s&#8217;ha observat que els resultats donen suport a les dades obtingudes amb l&#8217;EEG. En concret, s&#8217;ha constatat l&#8217;exist\u00e8ncia de d\u00e8ficits en la capacitat atencional, la mem\u00f2ria o la flu\u00efdesa verbal, entre altres funcions.<\/p> <h3>Fisiologia i morfologia del cervell<\/h3> <p>A la MA es produeix una acumulaci\u00f3 de <strong>plaques de beta amiloides i cabdells neurofibril\u00b7lars<\/strong> que generen canvis en l&#8217;activitat neuronal i que poden ser responsables de les alteracions que pateixen les persones amb aquest diagn\u00f2stic. L&#8217;atr\u00f2fia de les neurones de l&#8217;hipocamp i del neoc\u00f2rtex provocar\u00e0 que es redueixi l&#8217;activaci\u00f3 neuronal i l&#8217;enviament d&#8217;informaci\u00f3 entre neurones.<\/p> <p>A la MA podem trobar disfuncions en gran part de l&#8217;escor\u00e7a cerebral, \u00e9s especialment destacable la degeneraci\u00f3 a l&#8217;\u00e0rea de l&#8217;<strong>escor\u00e7a prefrontal (EPF).<\/strong><\/p> <p>L&#8217;Escor\u00e7a Prefrontal est\u00e0 implicada en all\u00f2 que s&#8217;anomena: Funcions Executives. Aquest tipus de funcions s\u00f3n: raonament, planificaci\u00f3, fixaci\u00f3 de metes, presa de decisions, iniciar i finalitzar tasques, organitzaci\u00f3, atenci\u00f3, inhibici\u00f3, flexibilitat, mem\u00f2ria de treball i anticipaci\u00f3. \u00c9s a dir, aquesta \u00e0rea est\u00e0 implicada en la realitzaci\u00f3 de funcions complexes i, per tant, rep i envia informaci\u00f3 a moltes altres localitzacions cerebrals.<\/p> <p>Els problemes atencionals apareixen des del comen\u00e7ament i es mantenen durant tota la malaltia. Primer es veur\u00e0 afectada l&#8217;atenci\u00f3 selectiva i, posteriorment, la mem\u00f2ria epis\u00f2dica.<\/p> <p>Amb l&#8217;envelliment, el nivell d&#8217;activitat de la EPF va disminuint, per\u00f2 en els casos de dem\u00e8ncia aquesta disminuci\u00f3 es produeix de manera molt m\u00e9s r\u00e0pida i intensa.<\/p> <p>El deteriorament que es produeix a l&#8217;<strong>escor\u00e7a frontal i temporal<\/strong> estar\u00e0 relacionat amb els problemes de mem\u00f2ria tan caracter\u00edstics a la MA.<\/p> <p>Aquests canvis en la morfologia i la fisiologia cerebral seran els causants de les variacions que es produeixen a l&#8217;EEG.<\/p> <h2><strong>Tractament amb Neurofeedback<\/strong><\/h2> <p>Els estudis realitzats amb EEG han deixat clar que hi ha canvis en l&#8217;activitat neuronal a la MA. Aquesta informaci\u00f3 ens permet intervenir terap\u00e8uticament sobre aquests patrons.<\/p> <p>El <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/neuroscenter.com\/neurofeedback\/\">Neurofeedback<\/a><\/strong>pot ser aplicat en aquests casos per contribuir a frenar el deteriorament cognitiu i millorar certs aspectes de la vida del pacient.<\/p> <p>Mitjan\u00e7ant aquest entrenament es busca potenciar aquelles ones que s&#8217;han vist disminu\u00efdes per causa de la malaltia i reduir les que es troben en exc\u00e9s. D&#8217;aquesta manera, encara que no \u00e9s possible millorar les capacitats cognitives que ja s&#8217;han vist deteriorades, s\u00ed que \u00e9s possible aconseguir que el deteriorament sigui m\u00e9s lent.<\/p> <p>Tamb\u00e9 podr\u00e0 contribuir a reduir la simptomatologia ansiosa o millorar l&#8217;estat d&#8217;\u00e0nim que sovint est\u00e0 afectat en aquesta malaltia.<\/p> <p>Si b\u00e9 \u00e9s cert que cal continuar investigant, els estudis cl\u00ednics realitzats fins ara apunten que els pacients amb Malaltia d&#8217;Alzheimer poden obtenir importants beneficis de
